today marked the beginning of my 5th week at work!

and i'm running out of clothes to wear.

as in so as not to wear the same top twice.

i think you get what i mean.

but thats besides the point.

i cant imagine stopping work in a few weeks time.

i'll miss the playgroup.

alot.

oh they have water play this friday at tampines swimming complex.

i think it'll be fun (:

ok let me talk about last week.

the first thing worth talking about is the family gathering at lorong salleh on tuesday.

the entire family met up at lorong salleh for dinner to sort of celebrate the dumpling festival.

i miss gatherings.

the last one was during chinese new year maybe.

the next would be on mooncake festival.

which i hope will come soon.

on wednesday had my second last lesson of intermediate japanese.

which means tomorrow is my last lesson ((:

thursday was normal.

friday i met up with justin for dinner at swensens in white sands.

i had fun (:

saturday i went for a haircut in the morning.

after that headed to golden mile shopping centre for some steamboat that my grandma was craving for.

then went to chinatown to get herbs.

and finally to my grandma's house for the usual mahjong session.

not me playing mahjong. =p

i was trying to get some sleep but didnt manage to.

at night at about 9 plus, my aunt decided to bring my little cousin to vivocity to see thomas the train (that train with the face).

so we went there and he got so excited.

he kept going "pay pay pay" and "buy".

i personally think his vocab is pretty good for a 2 year old.

after toys'r'us closed, we walked around vivocity.

and we ended up at the playground.

my little cousin was then running around and we were so tired after following him around.

ok anyway here is what happened at toys'r'us.





my little cousin elliot actually wanted to get inside the "cage" that stored the basketballs.

and he refused to come out.

and that was after we manage to convince him to walk away from the toy truck.

he had fun in there. =p

ok thats all for saturday.

and sunday was family day!

my entire family went to watch shrek 3 together!

it was hilarious.

definitely a show worth watching.

i got so amused by the different kinds of laughs from all around me.

i had fun too.

because of choir.

didnt expect that though.

cos if i don't go for the speech day thing, i'll be going to the zoo!

for some carnival that the company my daddy is working for is organising.

which is seriously tempting.

i havent been to the zoo since primary school.

and i havent in my enire life been to the night safari.

so if anyone who is in the same situation as me and would like to go to the night safari, i would be glad to go with you.

haha.

ok i'm too random.

i hate the weather by the way.

its neither hot nor cold.

just horribly humid.

i want snow!

i bought my seventeen magazine today!

the first thing i flipped to was the horoscope page.

i usually keep things that have great sentimental value.

which is almost everything.

ok i shall talk about my week at work.

monday was alrite.

except for the fact that i burnt my hand while pouring out the hot water.

it was my first time using that particular kind of flask.

so while pouring hot water into the milk bottle, i spilt alot of water onto my hand.

yes, it was a stupid thing to do.

but i learnt my lesson.

which is not to hold the milk bottle while pouring hot water into it.

tuesday and wednesday were alright.

hmmm thursday was eventful.

i fed this little boy his lunch.

but he puked out his lunch.

thank goodness i held the bowl at his mouth.

and for tea, i fed another boy.

who didnt like red bean soup.

i was feeding him halfway when he decided to sneeze.

and this time, some of the red bean soup landed on me.

i was like arghhhhhhh.

occupational hazards.

today i had chocolate cake for breakfast!

haha.

some kid's birthday.

there was a funeral happening at the next block.

the kids probably thot it was some kind of celebration.

because they started jumping around when the heard the "music" playing from the funeral.

the funeral reminded me of so many things.

but i tried not to think about it.

sadly it didnt work.

i should stop thinking.

ok thats pretty much it for my week at work.

now about other stuff besides work.

i watched my 3rd movie this year on monday!

oceans 13.

or something like that.

it was a pretty nice movie to me.

and i enjoyed myself alot with everyone.

val, joey, qiuxuan.

and of cos joey's sister.

even though i didnt hear her say anything.

next time we'll be meeting up will be 6th july.

i will drag jere if i have to.

heehee.

wednesday's japanese lesson was super duper slow.

it was so slow that it was abit hard to concentrate.

i miss the other teacher.

thank goodness i'm only left with 2 more lessons.

haha.

today i went to the library after work.

i found a book.

a really interesting one.

in the kids section in tampines regional library.

it was so very hot.

i saw many familiar faces.

but i dont think they saw me.

anyway it was all people that i didnt expect to see and didnt exactly want to see.

it's my second week of work!

i'm so enjoying it.

i appealed for both universities.

somehow i feel like i know what the outcome will be.

and i'm prepared to continue working till next may.

i wouldnt mind staying in the same job.

actually it depends on whether they need me to continue working.

heehee.

4 more japanese lessons.

6th, 13th, 20th, 27th.

i can't wait to finish.

and maybe after that, i'll continue my lessons in simei.

i'll concentrate on grasping everything.

not that i'll do well.

look at my chinese.

it hasnt gone anywhere.

haha.

i wanna go on a huge shopping spree before july.

i wanna buy a new wallet, a digital camera, a pink laptop, a few pretty dresses, many nice heels, more pretty tops, a big handbag, many many ear rings, jeans and other random stuff.

not like i have cash.

i guess it's alright to dream about them.

i was watching corpse bride on HBO last nite.

honestly, half the time i wasnt paying attention to it.

i shall not think about that.





i can't wait for MONDAY!!!!!

i heard the church bells toay.

it was exceptionally loud.

and i was wondering where it came from.

as in which church.

cos i dun remember having any church nearby.

anyway the church bells reminded me of the times in mj when we would look forward to the church bells on the first day of each month.

haha.
