and i finished my lesson plans for the term too!

it seems like a super long week somehow.
thank goodness i survived it.
tuition tomorrow.
another looooonnnngggg day.
was looking through my emails.
there are so many scholarships available.
i shall apply for some when they have scholarships for psychology.
even though chances of getting them are close to 0.
at least i bother to try.
and i visited the IMH website.
was thinking of volunteering there.
my mummy will scream at me.
but i will definitely volunteer there some day.

i'm reading this book by jodi piccoult titled nineteen minutes.
shall blog about it after i'm done with it (((:
all her books are so well written.
and i seem to prefer buying her books than borrowing them.
haha my collection of books is slowing getting bigger.
maybe i should consider buying second hand books so i wont spend so much.

i give up.
i shall do the curriculum web tomorrow.
A level results are coming out soon.
which means i can apply for NUS and NTU again.
finally.
after waiting for soooooooooooooooo long.
somehow i feel tired of always waiting.
i hope i wont get rejected again.
even though i have a place in SIM for a degree in psychology.
i hope i wont regret the decision of not retaking A levels.
i hope things will go right this time round.
i should stop thinking and just sleep cos this stupid headache i'm having is getting worse.
i have this sudden urge to cry.

I'M SO TIREDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!
i'm finally done with this week's lesson plan.
i'm left with one week of lesson plans to evaluate.
and also this week's lesson plan to evaluate.
i'm in my "thinking too much" mood AGAIN!
someone help me!
ARGH.
decorating the classroom is tiring.
but its going well for now.
i'm going to have another student in my class next week.
which brings the total number of students up to 12 - 3 girls and 9 boys.
9 BOYS!
boo.
i shall stop complaining.
i cant wait to start schooling again.

I had fun today. (:
didnt have to give tuition this morning cos my student is camping.
watched PS I Love You and Jumper.
with pig tan and aloysiOus chew.
i enjoyed myself.

just 2 cos it's pretty much the same =p
tomorrow will be lesson plans day.
i thought i could escape writing the evaluation for the lesson plans BUUTTTTT i still have to do them even though i have no diploma in early childhood education!
so tomorrow i have to complete the evaluations for 5 weeks of lesson plans and i have to do one more lesson plan and i also have to think of what to decorate on all the notice boards in the classroom.
and all this has to be completed by 3rd march.
becos the big boss is coming to our centre on the 4th of march.
and we have to ensure that everything is really really dust free.
well maybe not exactly dust free but at the very least clean and presentable.
the trip to the zoo has been postponed to next month.
and waterplay is starting next month!
so going to the zoo on 12th march.
on 11th march i have to go for a curriculum meeting at the head office.
i have no idea where it is actually.
i hope i wont have to go with the principal.
on wednesday this lady came to the centre to interview the teachers about dealing with the children with special needs.
turns out this lady was my sec 1 english teacher and she's doing her phd now.
what a way to bump into a teacher.
tuition is getting slightly better.
my students are starting to respond just a little bit more.

i hope the p5 kid does well for his maths exam.
i hope 1st March's gathering is still on.
surprisingly this time when i smsed, only the guys replied.

tuition was ugh.
the pri5 kid was alright.
the sec3 girl was like super duper sian.
both were very quiet.
i hope the sec2 boy will be slightly better.
work was HORRIBLE!
becos daishu mama took leave, that 933 volunteered to help me in the afternoon.
and she claimed that she didnt volunteer to.
i was like praying that she would change her mind.
but she didnt.
and my ears suffered.
and i felt that i had to take care of her.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and daishu mama is taking more leave next week.
i hope i wont get stuck with 933.
becos of 933 i was too angry to have my dinner before tuition.
and i ended up not having any.
i cant get rid of the dettol smell on my hands.
arghhhh.
i shall just go to sleep so i can wake up in time for tuition tomorrow.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
today the children celebrated chinese new year in school.
some of them had really cute outfits for the party.
it was cute!
they had a competition to see who could peel a mandarin orange the fastest.
it was funny.
after work, i went for dinner with EUNICE!
at han river.
i feel so cheated by the waitress.
argh.
ANYWAY tomorrow will be the tart of tuitioning.
is there such a word?
i hope it will go well.

so work will be from 9.30 to 6.30 and tuition will be from 7 to 10.
i hope i will be awake.
and daishu mamam isnt going to work tomorrow.
so it'll be a long and boring day.
i'll upload photos of my very cute students soon.

TADAAAAA!
a new blogskin!
and its pink!!!
i'm supposed to be doing my lesson plan for the coming week but i seem to have digressed.
i'm running out of creative ways to teach the children the things that are to be taught.
and i missed so much of the other lessons that i was supposed to teach in week 4.
because of my 3 days of MC on tuesday wednesday and thursday.
and going back to work on friday was a torture cos i was so tired.
anyway i think i'm alot better now after the chinese new year holidays.
only that i'm suffering from occassional headaches.
so i have to carry medicine wherever i go.
and its back to work tomorrow.
oh i have 3 new tuition kids!
they're my colleagues children one is P5, another is Sec2 and another is Sec3.
i'm gonna have more income!
and i wont be free on friday nights anymore.
so i can only organise dinners for the seven on saturdays or other weekdays except friday.
unless of course my tuition kids wanna change their tuition days (:
wish me luck in teaching them maths!
chinese new year this year was alright.
somehow the festive mood isnt really there.
but i enjoyed myself (:
esp yesterday's mahjong session, maybe i should say this morning's mahjong session with jere, jamie and khalis at my place.
it was really fun.
